This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in site carpentry to demonstrate their competence.
The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. The course provides a specialist work related programme of training covering key knowledge and practical skills required within the sector..

Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for operatives who are working in the construction industry, either experienced or just starting out in the industry.
How you will be assessed?
The qualification is delivered on-site by one of our specialist NVQ Assessors. The assessment is being made via the portfolio of evidence. A high level of support will also be provided to help you complete the NVQ requirements.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment.
Progression Routes
Achievement of this qualification confirms the learner has gained the knowledge and skills required to :
- Work in Trowel Occupations.
- Progress onto a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
In addition, successful achievement of the qualification will allow the individual to apply for a Blue CSCS card.
