
Course Details
This Level 2 NVQ in Interior Systems (Dry Lining) provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in site Interior Systems to demonstrate their competence.
This work-based qualification is aimed at learners who are working, or want to work, in installing interior systems in commercial buildings. This may include access flooring, acoustic flooring, protective components, interior sheeting, partitions and dry lining.
The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. The course provides a specialist work related programme of training covering key knowledge and practical skills required within the sector.

Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for operatives who are working in the construction industry, either experienced or just starting out in the industry.
How you will be assessed?
The qualification is delivered on-site by one of our specialist NVQ Assessors. The assessment is being made via the portfolio of evidence. A high level of support will also be provided to help you complete the NVQ requirements.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment.
Progression Routes
Achievement of this qualification confirms the learner has gained the knowledge and skills required to :
- Work in the construction industry specialising in Plant Operations.
- Industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.
- Progress onto a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
In addition, successful achievement of the qualification will allow the individual to apply for a Blue CPCS card OR convert a CPCS Red Trained Plant Operator Card to a CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card.
